SSLVPN user sessions timeout after upgrading to NetExtender version 10.3.5

Description

After upgrading SonicWall NetExtender to version 10.3.5, users may encounter unexpected SSLVPN session timeouts when the Mouse Inactivity Check option is enabled under SSLVPN settings. This occurs even if the user is actively working and not idle.

Cause

This behavior is linked to a change in how NetExtender 10.3.5 interacts with the Mouse Inactivity Check feature. The client incorrectly interprets activity signals, resulting in false inactivity detection and session termination.

Resolution

Disable Mouse Inactivity Check in SSLVPN settings until a patch or updated release resolves the issue.

To Disable the Mouse Inactivity Check, Navigate to NETWORK | SSLVPN > Server Settings. Under SSL VPN SERVER SETTINGS, disable Mouse Inactivity Check. Click Accept to save the changes.

Note: If Mouse Inactivity Check must remain enabled for your environment, consider rolling back to NetExtender version 10.3.4, where this issue does not occur.
