Schedule SSL VPN user login time

Description

This article describes about scheduling the user login time for SSLVPN users.

Resolution for SonicOS 7.X

This release includes significant user interface changes and many new features that are different from the SonicOS 6.5 and earlier firmware. The below resolution is for customers using SonicOS 7.X firmware.

  1. Navigate to Objects|Addresses. Add an address object of type "host"
     (Make sure Client WAN IP should be static IP)

  2. Navigate to Policy | Rules and Policies | Access Rules. Add access rule from WAN - WAN

    Source IP : Client Public IP ( Can be set to "Any" if schedule has to be done for all SSLVPN Clients)
    Destination IP : WAN Interface IP
    Service : SSL VPN
    Schedule : Select the schedule according to requirement ( to create new schedule Navigate to Object | Match objects | Schedules)Image

  1. Navigate to Manage | Objects | Address Objects. Add an address object of type "host"
    (Make sure Client WAN IP should be static IP)

  2. Navigate to Manage | Rules | Access Rules. Add access rule from WAN - WAN

    Source IP : Client Public IP ( Can be set to "Any" if schedule has to be done for all SSLVPN Clients)
    Destination IP : WAN Interface IP
    Service : SSL VPN
    Schedule : Select the schedule according to requirement ( to create new schedule Navigate to Manage | Appliance |System schedules )Image
