Running Diagnostic Tests on Wireless Network Manager (WNM)

Administrators might need to run certain diagnostic test to check the gateway and Internet connectivities from the SonicWall's cloud managed access points. These test can give a high level overview of network health in wireless environment.

To perform the diagnostic test, follow the below mentioned steps :

• Ensure that the SonicWall's Wireless Network Manager has detected the SonicWave by logging into the portal from the link (https://wcm.sonicwall.com/ or https://cloud.sonicwall.com/ ) and navigating to Overview | Dashboard as shown below :

• Navigate to Network | Devices and hover the mouse pointer on the desired access point for which diagnostics need to be run.

• An Option-Bar will be visible and select the Diagnostic option from it

• From the diagnostic page, one can perform the below connectivity tests :

         a) Gateway Test

         b) DNS Test

         c) Ping Test

         d) Trace Route Test

         e) Nslookup Test
