Pro-rating CGS (Comprehensive GMS Support) for GMS

Comprehensive GMS Support (CGS) includes support for GMS and support for the GMS-managed appliances.
For GMS versions 5.1 and later, the GMS serial number is registered to any mySonicWall.com account, and all GMS-managed units should be registered to the same account. The GMS deployment lets the backend know which units have been acquired by the GMS system. This list of devices is then filtered for non-eligible devices (e.g. E-class, Gen4 or older) to create a sublist of devices to which CGS is applied.
In GMS versions prior to 5.0, there was a ‘Pro-rate CGS’ button at Console > Licenses > GMS License. This allowed the GMS user to force a Pro-rate function, and all Comprehensive GMS Support licenses were redistributed evenly among appliances registered to the GMS account. We removed this function from the GMS UI, as the pro-rating is done automatically when GMS synchronizes with the back end (every 24 hours).
