New SSLVPN Connections to NSv not connecting

Description

This article covers the Issue related to some admins reporting an Issue where the SSLVPN Connections from users are not getting connected to NSv unless the virtual firewall is restarted. Only then do the newer or additional SSLVPN users are able to connect. This has been observed for users using the Netextender, Mobile Connect clients. This has been observed on the virtual firewall firmwares 6.5.4.4-44v-21-1519 and  6.5.4.4-44v-21-1551 . This is only observed on the GEN6 NSv and not GEN7

Resolution

A temporary workaround is to restart the firewall however please note that the active connections will be dropped when the firewall is restarted. A solution for this Issue is to contact Sonicwall Support and reference the Issue ID SOSV-5478. A Hotfix firmware will be made available which addressed this Issue.
