Log-In to Unit" option in NSM(Network Security Manager).

'Log-In to Unit' is a feature that is available on GMS and NSM. This feature allows a user to Log-In as read-only Administrators to the acquired devices from the respective portals, without the need of using the Private or Public IP addresses of the devices to login to them.

In NSM, "Log-in to Unit" is called "Switch to Firewall Context".

Steps for "Switch to Firewall Context View" or "Login to Unit" in NSM:

1. Login to NSM using cloud.sonicwall.com and Go to Firewalls->Inventory->Click on Action Tab for the specific Firewall and click on "Switch to Firewall Context".

2. A dialogue box will be presented which will inform that the access to the firewall will be in Read-Only mode.

3. Once Click OK, another dialogue will appear asks if the Firewall Management page should be opened in a new Tab or Current one: 

4. In this example, Open in New Tab option was chosen. We can see a new tab with the Firewall Management page appearing in read only mode next to NSM tab:

NOTE: Firewall Context View can be used for one firewall at a time. We cannot have multiple firewall logins simultaneously using this option.
