S1 Windows Agent v18.104.22.168 is known to cause issues with the use of Virtual Shadowcopy Services (VSS) and will interfere with some backup applications like Veeam. To address this issue, SentinelOne released S1 Windows Agent v22.214.171.124. However, in certain circumstances, there have been observed upgrade issues from 126.96.36.199 to 188.8.131.52. For this purpose, SonicWall is only releasing support for a Self-managed version of the S1 Windows Agent 184.108.40.206.
We recommend that cutomers who would like to upgrade to S1 Windows Agent v220.127.116.11 from v18.104.22.168 follow below steps:
Manually uninstall Capture Client, along with the S1 Agent 22.214.171.124
Reconfigure your Threat Protection policy (or Client Policy in CC 3.5) to use the Self Managed version of S1 Windows Agent 126.96.36.199
Reinstall Capture Client which will trigger the auto-download and installation of the S1 Agent
Since this is a fresh install (vs an upgrade), you will need to reboot the endpoint to enable the Behavioral engine
