When using Java RDP bookmarks on Mac computers the keyboard on the remote computer defaults to English language, even when both local and remote computers are configured with other language (e.g. Dutch).
Pure java RDP client has limited support for other language keyboards apart from US English keyboard. Engineering do not plan to update the Java client. Instead, they will be updating the HTML5 client in the future with new languages.
At the moment the supported languages for HTML5 bookmarks in firmware version 188.8.131.52-17sv are the following: English (United States), Danish, German (Germany), French (France), Luxembourgish, Russian, German (Switzerland), English (United Kingdom), French (Switzerland), Norwegian, Dutch, Swedish, Finnish, Spanish, Italian.
Also French (Canada) and French (Belgium) have been included in firmware version 184.108.40.206-10sv that is currently a Beta release.
Please contact Technical Support if you would like to request the addition of a new language keyboard inside the HTML5 bookmark.
For other keyboard support when using Java RDP clients on Mac computers, a solution/workaround is to connect using Mobile Connect and then run the installed RDP client as if you were connected in the local network.
