How to View Security Services Summary , Support Services and Manage Security Service Online.
Resolution
Resolution for SonicOS 7.X
This release includes significant user interface changes and many new features that are different from the SonicOS 6.5 and earlier firmware. The below resolution is for customers using SonicOS 7.X firmware.
Security Services Summary
Device | Settings | Licenses
The Services table lists all the available and activated services on the SonicWall security appliance.
The Services column lists all the available SonicWall Security Services and upgrades available for the SonicWall security appliance. The Status column indicates if the security service is activated (Licensed), available for activation (Unlicensed), or no longer active (Expired). The number of nodes/users allowed for the license is displayed next to Count. The Expiry Date column displays the expiration date for any Licensed Security Service.
The information listed in the Services Summary table is updated from your mySonicWall.com account the next time the SonicWall security appliance automatically synchronizes with your mySonicWall.com account (once a day) or you can click the Synchronize button on the Device | Settings | Licenses page to manually update.
Viewing Support & Consulting Services
The Device | Settings | Licenses page displays a summary of the current status of support services for the SonicWall security appliance. The Support & Consulting Services table displays all support services for the appliance (Dynamic Support, Extended Warranty, etc.), their current status, and their expiration date.
Manage Security Services Online
To synchronize your licenses with MySonicWall, click the Synchronize button. When the synchronization is complete, a success status message will appear saying "Synchronization Successful" and the Security Services Summary table will display the updated information.
To activate, upgrade, or renew services, click the Activate, Upgrade, or Renew link in the table. A pop up will open to enter the Key. Once the key is successfully applied, the service will be activated. You can also get free trial subscriptions to various services by clicking the Start Trial link in the table.

The Security Service column lists all the available SonicWall Security Services and upgrades available for the SonicWall security appliance. The Status column indicates if the security service is activated (Licensed), available for activation (Not Licensed), or no longer active (Expired). The number of nodes/users allowed for the license is displayed in the Count column. The Expiration column displays the expiration date for any Licensed Security Service.

Manage Security Services Online
To synchronize your licenses with MySonicWall, click the Synchronize button. When the synchronization is complete, the status will appear in Status bar at the bottom of the management interface and the Security Services Summary table displays the updated information.
To activate, upgrade, or renew services, click the link given under point 2 in "Manage Security Services Online" . Type the details of your mysonicwall account and click "LOGIN".
Once submitted, a new column "Manage Service" will appear which will have options to Activate, Upgrade or Renew services. You can also get free trial subscriptions to various services by clicking the "Try" link under "Manage Service" column. When you click these links, a confirmation page is displayed.
Resolution for SonicOS 6.2 and Below
The below resolution is for customers using SonicOS 6.2 and earlier firmware. For firewalls that are generation 6 and newer we suggest to upgrade to the latest general release of SonicOS 6.5 firmware.

To activate, upgrade, or renew services, click the link in To Activate, Upgrade, or Renew services, click here. You can also get free trial subscriptions to SonicWall Content Filter Service and Client Anti-Virus by clicking the For Free Trials click here link. When you click these links, the mySonicWall.com Login page is displayed.
Enter your mySonicWall.com account username and password in the User Name and Password fields and click Submit. The Manage Services Online page is displayed with licensing information from your mySonicWall.com account.Related Articles
