How to use Forward Inheritance

Log into the application side (/sgms) of GMS

Go to the SonicWall Tab

Select the View you'd like to copy settings from

In the Center Pane, ensure you are on the Policies tab, select System | Tools

Select the radial for Forward Inheritance
 

Select the drop-down then select the filter to use
 

Click on the Preview button
Note: Make sure Pop-up blocker is disabled, as the preview comes up in a pop-up

Select and De-select the items to be copied down to the Unit nodes

Click on Next

Review the Configuration Changes about to be pushed to the units

Click on Update (Pop-up window will appear for Task execution)

Set time and select ok
