How to upgrade firmware in On-Prem Analytics?

This article explains how to upgrade the firmware in On-Prem Analytics. 

Resolution

Downloading and Importing New Firmware

  1. Login to www.mysonicwall.com with your Username or Email address.
  2. Navigate to Product Management> My products and find your product in the respective tenant. Click on the Serial No. and select Firmware to find the available firmware version.ImageImage
  3.  Current firmware shows up, click on Browse All Firmware to see all the available versions.
       NOTE: Firmware versions with .swi extensions can be uploaded on both the VMs [ESXi and Hyper-V]Image
  4. After downloading the firmware, navigate to https://<IPaddress>/appliance page and login into the Analytics GUI. 
  5. Post login, navigate to System> Settings and click on choose file and select the downloaded firmware file.   Image
  6. Click on Apply and click on OK to continue to file upload. This will automatically restart the VM appliance after the firmware is applied.
