How to run scheduler report when reports are not send and no error message regarding failure in Analyzer/GMS?

This behaviour has been observed in Windows environment when you try to send schedule report from Dashborad > Manage Scheduled Reports. The reports status do not show any error regarding failure also the status does not change colour from amber to red or green. When you try to restart the report scheduler service it does not start either. It shows an error similar to "The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion ...........".
1. Locate the background process:
- Open windows command prompt
- C:>sc queryex > process.lst
- C:>notepad process.lst
Above command will open all the running processes in a notepad. Locate the process ID for Reports Scheduler . Example:
SERVICE_NAME: Reports Scheduler
DISPLAY_NAME: Dell SonicWall Universal Management Suite - Reports Scheduler
TYPE : 10 WIN32_OWN_PROCESS
STATE : 4 RUNNING
(STOPPABLE, NOT_PAUSABLE, ACCEPTS_SHUTDOWN)
WIN32_EXIT_CODE : 0 (0x0)
SERVICE_EXIT_CODE : 0 (0x0)
CHECKPOINT : 0x0
WAIT_HINT : 0x0
PID : 1908
2. Kill the background process:
- taskkill /F /PID 1908
3. Restart the Reports Scheduler from the services
- From command line services.msc or services from the start menu
- Locate the Reports Scheduler service
