How to restrict users from changing their personal spam settings on email security.
Resolution
An administrator can restrict users from viewing and changing their personal email security settings.
To restrict settings, you will need to login as admin at the Web Interface of the Email Security and then go to Manage | System Setup | Customization | User View Setup

The settings are shown below:
User View Setup/General Settings
You can customize the user view by setting the options on this page. Select Apply Changes to save any updates you make. Click Revert to revert to the previously saved settings.
User View Setup
Login enabled allows users to access their personal settings and Junk Box by logging into their individual accounts. By default, if a user can log in and has items in his or her Junk Box, the Junk Box icon is visible to the user.
For the remaining items in this section, you can select the features that are made available to the users in your organization.
EXAMPLE: an administrator can specify that users may not administer their own allowed and blocked lists. Checked items appear in the navigation toolbar for users.
⦁ Anti-spam includes the user-configurable options available for blocking spam emails. People, companies, lists, aggressiveness and languages are the categories of Allowed and Blocked lists the user can customize.
If the Anti-Spam option is selected you can also allow users to have Full user control over anti-spam aggressiveness settings. Check the box to enable full control by the user.
⦁ Continuity enables email continuity for the hosted user. Users can view and reply to email messages even when the users' downstream server is unavailable. (only for Hosted email security , not included for software’s , VMs or on-premise appliance)
⦁ Reports provides junk email blocking information about your organization. Even if this option is checked, users may view only a small subset of the reports available to administrators.
⦁ Policy enables user to define policy settings.
⦁ Settings provide options for management of the user's Junk Box, including setting up individual junk summary reports and specifying delegates.
If the Settings options is selected, you can also enable Spam Management for the user.
⦁ Allow audit view to Helpdesk users lets the support staff on the Helpdesk view audit information so they can more effectively help with diagnostics, when needed.
User download settings
The administrator can allow users to download the following tools from the backend server. Check the box to enable the following options:
⦁ Allow users to download SonicWall Junk Button for Outlook
⦁ Allow users to download SonicWall Anti-Spam Desktop for Outlooks and Outlook Express
⦁ Allow users to download SonicWall Secure Mail Outlook plugin
Quarantined junk mail preview settings
Check the box so Users can preview their own quarantined junk mail. The remaining options in this section allow other types of users to preview quarantined junk mail for the entire organization. Check to box to enable these options.

Reports view settings
In this section the administrator can show or hide reports that display information about individual users, such as their email addresses. Check the box to enable the feature.
Miscellaneous
Several options can be set to help manage logins and passwords.
⦁ Optional login help URL for your organization is where the administrator can specify a URL for a customized Help page that is displayed for the users' Login screen. If you do not enter a URL, a default login help screen is provided.
⦁ Show Forgot Your Password link is enabled when the box is checked.
⦁ Alert administrator when Forgot Your Password request is raised is enabled when the box is checked.
NOTE: If the navigation or the screenshot looks different from the one mentioned above , you may be in an older firmware version and would require a firmware upgrade. Please refer the link below to upgrade the firmware to latest version.
