The steps to be followed are mentioned below:
Step 1: Log into the NSM management page via MSW account|Available services|Capture Security Centre or type cloud.sonicwall.com in the browser window.
Step 2: Navigate to Manager View and select Firewall> Inventory on the NSM management page
Step 3: By default, all the firewalls on the NSM are Group By " No Grouping". But we can change the Group By to Model, Connectivity, Managed Status, Group Name, Auto Sync, Capacity, Firmware Version from the drop-down list. Here in this example, we selected the Group By method based on the Model as shown below.
Note: The Group License Synchronization works only for Online and In Sync Firewalls in NSM. The License cannot be synchronized for Offline Firewalls in NSM
Step 4: Select the Action tab on the Right Corner of the Screen and select the Model to perform License Synchronization for the firewalls with the same model as shown below. Here in this example, we selected the NSa4650 firewall with a friendly name " PoC Kona NSa4650"as shown below.
Step 5: Modify the Schedule by selecting Now or Later and click Synchronize. Here in this example, we selected Now. Under Config Management > Commit, the commit will get created for the task, and the status shows Successs after the commit is deployed.
