How to Junk/block emails based on originating countries/ Geographic location.

How to Junk/block emails based on countries/ Geographic location.

Answer:

You can use Policy filter to block emails based on countries.

If you see more spam coming from a certain country like Romania or Bulgaria for example, you can create a policy filter to junk those emails.
 
To create such policy, please go through the steps mentioned below:

• Login to appliance as admin
• Go to Manage | Policy and compliance section on the left side of the panel
• Click on Filter | Add New Filter
• In the first section select If ANY instead of ALL if you want to create policy for more than one domain
• In the select drop down select “Country Code” matching select “is” and in the search value select “use Country Code” and select the country from drop down menu
• In the Action section select “ store in junk box”
• In the filter name you can give a name you like
• Save the filter
• To add more domains select the plus sign on the right side corner of the condition which will allow you to add one more condition
