How to Import units into NSM using Add Device JSON or CSV

This article will demonstrate how to import units into NSM using an Add Device JSON or CSV file.

You can use this process to help migrate units from one NSM installation to another or as a restore method on a new NSM server.

The Add Device JSON/CSV file can be exported from the Firewalls>Inventory page using More Options:

You can use the exported file to import the units into the new system.

This is done using the +Add feature on the Firewalls>Inventory page:

Popup dialogue will appear and allow selection of the Add Device file.

Use the Browse button to select the JSON or CSV file.

Finally, use the Import button to finish the import of the firewalls to the new system:
