How to export a packet capture in HTML format

This article will help in the case you need to export a packet capture in HTML format.

Resolution for SonicOS 7.X

This release includes significant user interface changes and many new features that are different from the SonicOS 6.5 and earlier firmware. The below resolution is for customers using SonicOS 7.X firmware.

After you have correctly set up the filters for the packet monitor and have captured the traffic, to export the packets captured in HTML format you will have to follow the next steps.

1. Navigate to the Monitor | Tools & Monitors | Packet Monitor.

2. After you have captured some traffic, Click on Export and select HTML from the dropdown.

3. Click Export, after that choose Export Packets as HTML.

This release includes significant user interface changes and many new features that are different from the SonicOS 6.2 and earlier firmware. The below resolution is for customers using SonicOS 6.5 firmware.

After you have correctly set up the filters for the packet monitor and have captured the traffic, to export the packets captured in HTML format you will have to follow the next steps.

1. Navigate to the Investigate| Tools | Packet Monitor.

2. After you have captured some traffic, Click on Export as and select HTML from the dropdown.

3. Click Export, after that choose Export Packets as HTML.
