How to download client installation package and the access agents from the appliance using WinSCP for Windows, Linux and Mac OS

When an Administrator would like to do group policy installations to all network computers, they can manually download the Installation packages using WinSCP. Make sure SSH is enabled on the appliance and login using WinSCP as root.

Firmware Version: Any Supported firmwares

Problem Description:

Admin needs to manually install the access agents.

Resolution/Workaround:

Log in to the device using WinSCP and navigate to the following path:
/usr/local/epcagents/htdocs/postauth/interrogator/opswat : This folder contains the SonicWall SMA Advanced EPC MSI Package.

/usr/local/epcagents/htdocs/postauth/interrogator/: This folder contains the SonicWall SMA Secure EndPoint Manager exe file and SonicWall SMA Webifiers MSI Package.

/usr/local/epcagents/htdocs/postauth/access/ngclient/en_US.UTF-8/: This folder contains the SonicWall SMA Connect Tunnel exe, MSI and ini files.

/usr/local/epcagents/htdocs/postauth/access/ngclient/ : This folder contains the MCT exe file and the Client Protection Service MSI file.

/usr/local/epcagents/htdocs/postauth/access/pca/ : This folder contains the SonicWall SMA OnDemand Proxy Agent MSI file.

/usr/local/epcagents/htdocs/postauth/access/wcp/ : This folder contains the SMAClientPkg.exe which will install SonicWall SMA Secure EndPoint Manager, Webifiers, OnDemand Proxy agent and Connect Tunnel.
