In this example we will deploy a new NSv 270 based on Policy Mode - Firmware 7.1.1-7047

Resolution

Resolution for SonicOS 7.X

This release includes significant user interface changes and many new features that are different from the SonicOS 6.5 and earlier firmware. The below resolution is for customers using SonicOS 7.X firmware.

The below resolution is for customers using SonicOSX 7.1 firmware.

0. Register the new firewall on MySonicwall. Note down firewall serial number and auth code.

1. Log in to your Azure Account: In your browser navigate to https://portal.azure.com and log into your Microsoft Azure Account.

2. Use ARM template below and Deploy to Azure

Few tips:

- Use unique storage account name - avoid capital letter or special characters.

- Note down the ssh password - you might need it in the future.

- If you do not know the public source ip that you will use to start the connection, you can set 0.0.0.0/0 as management access ip source - We strongly recommend editing the Network Security Group later with a specific public ip.

- Keep Image version as ''latest''.

- Edit WAN and LAN subnet ip's according to your preference.
