DESCRIPTION: How to create a Custom Report with Analyzer
In order to create a custom report, the first thing we need to do is click on Dashboard, once connected to the Analyzer appliance, and click the "Add a Scheduled Report" button :
Once this is done, you can Select what information you want included in the report.
For this example, we will select "Web Activity -> Sites" so that we can see what websites have been visited using the SonicWall appliance :
We can now click "Next" We need now to give this task a name, a description, choose the frequency at which we want to have this report and also we need to chose if we want it emailed, or stored as an archive meaning it will be viewable on the Analyzer appliance itself :
We can select the options we need. For this example, I am choosing a Daily Report, as a PDF file, in English, containing 5 rows of information per report, and stored as an archive on the Analyzer appliance
We can now click next. In the next step, we can customize the report by changing the cover logo, the title and subtitles. I will leave those options as they are for this example, and I will only enter a Title and a Subtitle :
We can now click "Finish" Once the data for the report has been gathered, you can consult the report bu clicking on "Dashboard" again, and select "Manage Scheduled Reports" The report is confirmed to be created once it appears if it appears in that list :
