With the new wireless solution launch in May 2019, SonicWaves can be configured for mesh in order to allow rapid deployment of a wireless network in where the LAN connectivity is limited.
1) SonicWall SonicWave access points with active subscription license. Any if the following platforms:
- SonicWave 200 series: SonicWave 231c, 224w, 231o
- SonicWave 400 series: SonicWave 432e, 432i, 432o
Question: Can the mesh consist a mix of above platforms?
Answer: Yes, SonicWave 200 or 400 series can be part of the same mesh
2) Mobile device (Apple/Android) with SonicWiFi mobile app version 1.0.8 or newer.
Follow mesh set up best practices for optimum results
Wired connectivity is not available in all areas in the location
Wireless Mesh will provide quick and easy deployment of the wireless network.
Below interactive video demonstrates the steps to configure mesh on three SonicWaves
