How to backup syslogs when migrating the Analyzer from one computer to another.

Resolution

Step 1: Navigate to the location where the syslog folder is located on the old computer

For example :

ImageCopy the syslog folder and save it on any location on the new computer where the analyzer will be migrated to.

Step 2: Uninstall the analyzer from the old machine and Install it on the new machine.

Step 3: Copy the backup syslog folder to the new computer where you have installed the Analyzer. Now, open a command prompt and point the directory to the location where the backup syslog folder is saved.

Once this command is executed, you will notice all the file extensions of your syslogs will be changed to .src
