How to activate NSv XS Trial Instance from Unified Management / MySonicWall account?

This article depicts the steps involved in activating an NSv XS Trial in Unified Management / MySonicWall account for the VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, KVM , Proxmox, Azure and AWS instances respectively.

Users need to generate the serial number for the NSv trial instances from the respective Unified Management / MySonicWall account instead approaching SonicWall Sales Team.

1. Login to the platform.sonicwall.com
   
2. Navigate to Admin Settings| Free Trial
   

3. Place the mouse pointer on NSv XS trial to show up the “Try Now” option.
   

4. Click “Try Now” button and small pop-up box appears.

5. In the pop-up box, provide a Friendly Name, choose the respective Tenant Name (Product Group) and click on “Try Now” to generate and register a serial number and authentication code for trial license automatically.
   

6. Product Details such as Serial Number, Authentication Code and Registration Code from its GUI are shown up
