How does an account become locked? You can attempt to log into your account at www.mysonicwall.com up to 3 times with an incorrect password. On the fourth attempt, your account will be locked.
When your account is locked, you will be given the opportunity to unlock it by answering a secret question that you selected at the time of your account registration. You have up to 3 attempts to correctly answer the Secret Question. If an incorrect answer is provided, you will receive the below error indicating that your account is locked and you need to contact Customer Service.
A locked out account cannot be used until your password is reset by a Customer Service agent.
To unlock your account, first send an email to registration@SonicWall.com. In your email, state that your account has been locked due to too many incorrect password attempts.
By sending an email, you are generating a Support Request. You will receive an email response with a case or SR# within minutes of contacting us. When you have your case number, please call us on 1.888.793.2830 and provide the case number to the customer service agent.
The customer service agent will unlock your account and help you to reset your password.
