Changing your password from the factory default is strongly recommended. If you do change your password, be sure to keep it in a safe place. If you lose your password, you will have to reset the SMA appliance to factory settings, losing your configuration.
To set or reset the administrator password for the SonicWall SMA appliance please perform the following:
Select the Users | Local Users page.
Click the configure button corresponding to the admin account.
Enter a password for the admin account in the Password field.
Re-enter the password in the Confirm Password field.
