This Article Explains about the steps involved to enable or disable Web Threat Protection feature on Capture Client 2.0.
Capture Client 2.0 allows an administrator to block access to any web sites that are categorized as "Malware" or "Hacking/Proxy Usage". The Capture Client Web Threat Protection feature provides protection against malicious web sites. Once it is enabled, Capture Client will automatically monitor and block any known malicious web sites, i.e., sites that have been rated as Malware or Hacking/Proxy Usage.
Web threat protection is included as part of the Threat Protection policy and can be enabled/disabled under Threat Protection Policy.
To Enable Web Threat Protection:
1) Login to https://captureclient.sonicwall.com and navigate to Security Policies > Threat Protection and click on edit button for the policy on which you would like to enable Web Threat Protection feature.
2) Click on Engine Settings on Threat Protection Policy (ex: I have a Threat Protection Policy called “SR_2.0”)
3) Enable or disable web protection by toggling the "Web Protection Engine" setting.
Note: Web protection currently only blocks sites that are rated as Malware or Proxy Usage / Hacking and only available with Capture Client Advanced license.
