How can I download TSP (Technical Support Package) log file from SonicWall email security device?

Description

 This solution covers how to download a Technical Support package from an Email Security appliance.

NOTE: This article applies to Email Security software and hardware but NOT Hosted Email Security.

Resolution

 Please follow the steps as mentioned below:

  1. Login into Email security device as Admin
  2. Go to Manage | System Setup | Server| Advanced Page
  3. Scroll down towards the section Download System/Log files
  4. Go to the Type of File section and Select "Technical Support Package"
  5. Click on Basic Settings and Logs and click on Download
  6. It will prompt you to save that file on your work station
  7. Save the file and attach it to the case.
