How can I clear the Tomcat Web server cache?

Description

This article explains how to clear the Tomcat/Apache Cache for the Web Server of GMS/Analyzer when seeing possible display issues or slowness in response of the WebUI.

Resolution

  1. Log in to the System Interface at http://IPaddress/appliance.
  2. After authentication, change the URL to http://IPaddress/appliance/techSupport.html.
  3. Read the warning, then clickAccept button:Click Clear Cache button.

  4. Then click the Home button in the upper right of the page.
  5. Next, go to Deployment | Services and check the box for SonicWall Universal Management Suite - Web Server then hit Restart.Image
