How can I change the default MGMT IP address on the firewall?

Description
The MGMT zone is used for Appliance Management and includes only the MGMT Interface. Interfaces in other Zones can also be enabled for SonicOS Appliance Management, but the MGMT Zone/Interface provides the added security of a separate Zone just for Management purposes.
Resolution
Resolution for SonicOS 7.X
This release includes significant user interface changes and many new features that are different from the SonicOS 6.5 and earlier firmware. The below resolution is for customers using SonicOS 7.X firmware.
It is possible to change the default Management IP Address to a different one as in some deployments the default Management IP Address may be in use by another Subnet.
- Login to the SonicWall web management GUI.
- Navigate to Network | System | Interfaces and click Configure option of MGMT interface.

Resolution for SonicOS 6.2 and Below
The below resolution is for customers using SonicOS 6.2 and earlier firmware. For firewalls that are generation 6 and newer we suggest to upgrade to the latest general release of SonicOS 6.5 firmware.
It is possible to change the default Management IP Address to a different one as in some deployments the default Management IP Address may be in use by another Subnet.
- Login to the SonicWall web management GUI.
- Navigate to Network | Interfaces and click Configure option of MGMT interface.
