Question: What are the requirement for a GMS Flow Server Role (GMS 8.X versions)?

Answer:

• Must have an existing GMS 8.X All-in-One or Console deployed.
• This role can be installed only on a Virtual Appliance (not on Windows), which is currently supported only on VMware ESXi.
• Flow data is sent in the clear, so direct LAN connection or private VPN/MPLS connection between the firewall and Flow Server is preferred.
