GMS/Analyzer: Registration of GMS/Analyzer fails after migration to another PC or virtual machine
This article describes steps to follow when registration of GMS/Analyzer fails after migration to another PC or virtual machine.
After registering Analyzer/GMS GUID is being generated and assigned to serial number on mysonicwall.com. GUID is unique and is also connected with a PC or Virtual Machine where GMS/Analyzer is installed. After migration to another machine it needs to be cleared so that new GUID can be assigned to serial number og GMS/Analyzer. Registration will not be possible until Serial Number is "Trusted" and GUID is assigned.
To resolve this issue please contact with Technical Support or Customer Service to reset trust of this serial number. After that registration will succeed.
