Fan Failure" Alert received in the logs

Shortly after powering on the SonicWall, the logs will show a Fan Failure alert.

It is not a hardware issue as expected but a firmware issue with a fix released in the 6.2.0.1-22n. 

If you are running a firmware from 6.1.2.0-11n to 6.2.0.0-20n and seeing this alert in the SonicWall logs, please upgrade to 6.2.0.1-22n or newer.
