Fail to log into the secondary HA Sonicwall appliance with monitoring IP.
?After configuring High Availability on your primary and secondary devices you cannot log into the secondary Sonicwall device with it's monitoring IP address.
Cannot ping the secondary monitoring IP address.
No issues logging into the primary Device with it's monitoring IP address.
No error's in the logs for HA on the primary device.
When testing the HA by rebooting the primary device and initializing a failover, traffic from behind the firewall halts and you are still not able to log into the Sonicwall.
Check the switch on the LAN side of your Sonicwall devices and make sure the port that the Secondary Sonicwall device is connected too is on the same VLAN as the the port the Primary Sonicwall device is connected too.
If on a different VLAN then correct this and HA will failover and logging into the secondary device will be successful.
