EX SSLVPN: HTC EVO Droid phones consuming two licenses for an activesync session
In HTC EVO phone, for activesync configuration, there is a specific send/receive setting which makes the phone to go for Push type mail synchronization " As items arrive". If the phone is configured with this specific option, the appliance is showing two licensed sessions for the same phone/user access. If the same EVO phone is configured to Push data with regular intervals like 15/30/45 mins or even manually then we only see one active licensed session for the phone.
Resolution or Workaround:
SonicWall support is currently investigating this reported symptom and the expected fix for this is scoped on 10.6.0 BETA release. If you have any further questions, please contact SonicWall Support
