DESCRIPTION: EX SSL-VPN: User Sessions displayed as "not licensed" On Aventail Management Console firmware version 10.0.5
User Sessions displayed as "not licensed" On Aventail Management Console firmware version 10.0.5. There are no problems for user authentication and does not give actual licensed users currently logged into the appliance.
Resolution or Workaround:
We have workaround currently for this issue. Create a script on SonicWall's Aventail VPN Device and execute it on all the appliances which have this issue reported.
i.e. if the appliance are configured as HA Pair we need to run the script on both nodes.
# cd /root
# vi userlicense.sh ( Create a new file)
for x in sessionInformation accessChecks byteCounts byteCountSnapshots do mysql -e "TRUNCATE TABLE troubleshooting.$x;" done
#chmod +x userlicense.sh
Note: During the exection of this script we might see the existing users might need to reauthenticate.
mysql repair utility would be added in firmware version 10.0.6 and above.
