DESCRIPTION: EX SSL-VPN: Native Access module and its behavior with Microsoft Terminal services
Mapping network drive through RDP shortcut NAM resource and its behavior
NAM - an acronym for Native Access Module. Also known as a webifier, It allows a user to load a Citrix or Windows Terminal Service connection through WorkPlace with less administrator and user overhead. In other words, the admin sets up the resource, creates a link for the resource on WorkPlace, and the users have access to it.
The RDP NAM shortcut is just a interface through the browser application to have the Shortcut accessible for the user while they are accessing through the sslvpn device. So the behavior of the mapping of the drives of the Remote PC drive would be the same as the native behavior of the Terminal services and is more dependant on the same, of what you see while accessing the RDP directly without the appliance.
