Problem Description:
Error message when attempting to register SonicWall devices in an HA pair with GMS: "Login failed as the serial numbers do not match"
Resolution/Workaround:
Step 1: Make sure you are using the serial number for the primary unit only. You do not need to add the serial number for the backup unit in GMS.
Step 2: Make sure you are failed over to the Primary unit before trying to acquire in GMS
Step 3: If you are failed over to the backup unit when completing this process you will get the following error message in GMS "Login failed as the serial numbers do not match".
