Problem Definition:

WXA -- downloading diagnostics data needed by support and engineering.

Resolution or Workaround:
For the WXA appliance, Support engineers could ask for several files for troubleshooting purposes.
In this document you will learn how to gather the required information for quick resolution.

First, in the WXA menu under Log, Export the log as CSV.

Next, In the address box at the top change the word "main" to the word "diag" (as pictured above) you will still need the ".HTML" extension

This page gives two options, select "Internal Settings"

Scroll to find the WAN Acceleration Settings
Select "Open WXA Internal Settings Page"

Select "Internal Settings" *note: not all systems will use this page*

*note: due to version differences this screen may be visually different it does not affect the outcome of the files received.*
On the "Diagnostics" tab,
Options include:
Log to download the logs again
SSH Access to disable SSH Access to the WXA appliance (not recommended)
Packet Capture only populates when the WXA has been asked to capture packets
Core Files these files (if present) are very necessary for support and engineering and can be downloaded similar to the log files downloaded earlier in this document.
System Watchdog this section (if populated) would also be necessary for support and engineering. To copy these messages a screen shot is recommended
