If you have multiple OS types in your Cylance tenant, please see this linked page for steps to configure Zone Based updating to assign the correct agent versions to the correct OS types - Zone Based Updating (SonicWall)

Windows

If updating current Cylance deployments to agent version 3.* from 2.1.1578 or older, please review the following article:

  • Aurora Protect Agent: 3.4.1000
    • Must be running agent version 3.0.1005 or newer before updating to 3.4.1000
    • Roll back to agent versions older than 3.4.1000 is not supported, and will require an uninstall, restart, reinstall with desired agent version
    • Check the Compatibility Matrix to ensure your OS version is supported: Compatibility matrix: Aurora Protect Desktop agent (Artic Wolf)
      • Windows Server 2012 R2 and Windows Server 2016, if already using Protect agent 3.x and above can use agent 3.3.1001
    • For 32-bit versions of Windows and OS versions not supported with 3.4.1000, the recommended agent version is 3.0.1005
  • Aurora Focus (OPTICS): 3.4.1555
    • Check the Compatibility Matrix to ensure your OS version is supported: Compatibility matrix: Aurora Focus agent (Artic Wolf)
    • For OS versions not supported with 3.4.1555, use the newest compatible agent version.
      • For example, Windows Server 2012 R2 and Windows Server 2016 will use Focus agent version 3.3.3120 also referenced in supported legacy systems table below.

MacOS

  • Aurora Protect Agent: 3.3.1000
