CLI: How often can we commit changes when updating records in bulk?

When updating records via the CLI, SonicWall recommends waiting up to 300 seconds between commits for bulk changes. The amount of time needed to process and commit the changes can vary based on a number of factors, such as High Availability, the number of records updated at one time, and utilization of the appliance at the time the changes are made, etc.



As a best practice, we recommend doing large updates during off-hours as large updates can have an impact on CPU (Core 0) utilization.
