DESCRIPTION: CASS Anti-Spam Monitoring Status Unavailable
Under Anti-Spam | Status | Monitoring Status the "Current Status" of the SonicWall Anti-Spam Service appears to be "Unavailable" in red.
'Unavailable' means the SonicWall UTM is not able to contact the CASS Server. The CASS Cloud Service IP addresses (SonicWall Anti-Spam Service) are: 126.96.36.199, 188.8.131.52
Keep in mind, that these IP's do not respond to ping requests. This is expected behavior.
Please check your WAN connections, and/or the devices in front of the WAN port of the SonicWall UTM, as well as Link-Speed and correct cabling.
If there is a NAT'g device on the WAN interface of the SonicWall, configure it to Transparent Mode and set a public IP on the WAN interface of the SonicWall.
Step 1:Anti-Spam | Settings | Advanced Options | Anti-Spam Advanced Settings: Step 2:"Allow" delivery of unprocessed mails when SonicWall Anti-Spam Service is unavailable. Step 3:"Tag & Deliver" Emails when SonicWall Junk Store is unavailable. Step 4:The other options are to Reject and to Delete emails when the two Servers are unavailable, which would cause emails to not be delivered.
