Blocking a subdomain with CFS 4.0

This article describes the steps to block a specific path of a website or domain while allowing the access to the main website and other subdomains.
This a new feature included with the new CFS.
- Create a URI List Object from Firewall | Content Filter Objects as following:
- Add or modify a CFS Profile Object from Firewall | Content Filter Objects and select the URI List Object created into the "Forbidden URI list" box.
Configure the Content Filtering to allow the category of the main website or create another URI List Object with the main website and:
- Add or modify a CFS Profile Object from Firewall | Content Filter Objects and select the URI List Object created into the "Allowed URI list" box.
- From the CFS Profile Object configuration, select Forbidden URI list First as URI List Searching Order.
After this configuration, cnn.com/politics will be blocked while cnn.com will be allowed.
TIP: If the category of CNN is not blocked, there is no need to create the ALLOW CNN Object.
NOTE: For the feature to work with HTTPS Websites it is necessary to have Client DPI-SSL enabled.
