AMC user sessions shows Idle instead of Active user after successful CT reconnection on 10.7.x
When modify any Network and policy relates issues Policy Server will be restarted, when policy applies Connect Tunnel users will be disconnected and reconnected automatically, however AMC user session shows idle state instead of Active users.
However policyinfo shows active users sessions properly when we check via SSH console.
Repro Steps :
- Launch CT connection - Check AMC user session, it show up valid active user license consumed - Check in SSH console as well, it shows 1 user license - Do changes on AMC it should trigger PS restart, like ACL,Network, Realms..etc or forcefully restart #/etc/init.d/policyserver restart, observe the CT connection on client PC. - CT will disconnect and re-establish the connection - Now Login to AMC console and check user sessions, it will show idle but in SSH console it shows active user licences for the same user.
This issue not seen on SMA-11.2.0 firmware versions. We've seen this only on 10.7.x firmware versions.
Engineering identified the issue and fixed with a Hotfix for 10.7.2 firmware version.
