After updating the netextender to 10.3.0, users cannot login to sslvpn if the username or password has umlaut characters(mostly used with German letters). With the same letters, it was working fine on older versions of Netextender.Â

Â
There are also instances where the sslvpn connects with umlaut letters on username but the connections cannot be saved. After every disconnection, need to enter all the login details again.
Engineering team is aware of this issue and already working on this, SMA-5604.
Current solution is to downgrade the netextender version or use the following workaround.
Workaround is to enable the following option on control panel and restart the system:
control panel/region/administrative/change system local/region settings/ and enable Beta: use unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support
