How to install the SonicWall Network Security Solution into your Sentinel workspace using the Content Hub

Description

This article covers how to use the Content Hub to install the “SonicWall Network Security” Solution into your Microsoft Sentinel workspace. Installing the solution enables the SonicWall Workbooks, Analytic Rules, Hunting Queries, etc. to function using the workspace-deployed function names.

Instructions

To install the solution via the Content Hub into your Microsoft Sentinel workspace:

  1. Within your Microsoft Sentinel workspace, navigate to the “Content management” > “Content hub” page.
  2. Use the search field to search for “sonicwall”.
  3. Select the “SonicWall Network Security” item. Click the “Install” button near the bottom of the right pane or the “Install/Update” button near the top of the page.Image
  4. Once installed, the “Install” button on the bottom right of the page becomes a “Manage” button. Click Manage to view the installed content.Image

  5. The installed content can be viewed by clicking each item. Each content item is also available within it’s content type’s section. For example, Data connectors are in the Data connectors page, while Workbooks are on the Workbooks page in Microsoft Sentinel.
