Windows Updates getting failed on all LAN PC behind the firewall with the Error number: 0x80072EFF.

Microsoft Corporation a company that develops, manufactures, licenses, and supports a wide range of software products for computing devices.This SonicWall signature identifies legitimate Microsoft Windows Update traffic. The primary purpose of this signature is for bandwidth management when used in the Application Firewall feature.

Step 1: Login to the SonicWall Management Unit, go to Security Services > Intrusion Prevention page.

Step 2: Make Sure that you have Disabled Prevent All for "Low Priority Attack".

Step 3: Check the logs on the sonicwall for any IPS Alerts generated which looks like:-

Step 4: If you come across any IPS Alerts Prevention, please disable Prevention on those specific Signatures.
