How to enable Debug logs for Modern Connect Tunnel

Description

Enterprise Secure Mobile Access- how to enable and collect debug logs from Connect Tunnel (Legacy and Modern Connect Tunnel)

Resolution

If you are having issues with connecting using Connect Tunnel please follow the procedure below: Legacy Connect Tunnel 

  1. Enter Connect Tunnel properties section

  2. Go to logging tab and check 'enable debug logging'

  3. Clear the logs --> reproduce the issue and export the logs. Provide the logs to Sonicwall  support for analysis.

Note: Legacy Connect Tunnel is End of life.


Connect Tunnel (or Modern Connect Tunnel)

  1. Click on Advanced Settings icon at the bottom left corner.
  2. Move the toggle bar to Debug or Packet Capture( it also contains Debug log) under loggingImageImage
     
  3. Clear the logs and reproduce the issue.
  4. Export logs and send them to support for analysis. Reset the logging back to Information once done.
