Carolyn McCarthy

Carolyn McCarthy is the Chief Executive Officer of SonicWall, where she leads the company with a clear commitment to improving security outcomes for our customers and partners. She believes channel partners who bring SonicWall solutions to customers are central to that mission, and that partner success is an operating principle, not a slogan.

 As a seasoned technology operator, she has a record of scaling software and security businesses. She held strategy and mergers and acquisitions responsibilities at PepsiCo and EDS before joining Dell. She later served as COO of Quest Software and One Identity, and subsequently joined Francisco Partners, where she provided advisory services to portfolio companies, focusing on operational scale, transformation and performance.

Carolyn holds a BA from the College of Holy Cross and an MBA from the University of Maryland.
