How to create an Inheritance Filter

Description

This is article explains How to create filters for Inheritance Filters. The Inheritance Filters are used to move a set of settings from unit or Group to another unit or group.

Resolution

  1. Log into the frontend (/sgms) side of the GMS
  2. Go to the Console Tab
    ImageSelect Management > Inheritance Filters
    ImageSelect the Drop Down for Select Filter and Choose New Filter
    ImageChange the Filter Name to what you'd like to name the filter
  3. Select the categories of what you'd like to filter settings for
    ImageSet Access permissions for this specific filter just created
    ImageYou have successfully created an Inheritance filter now Select on of the following on how to use the filter you just created.
