Description
To migrate to CSC from CGMS 1.0 follow these steps.
NOTE: Migrating from Cloud GMS 1.0 to Cloud GMS 2.0 will remove all previous reporting data, configurations, and policies.
Resolution
1. To remove units from CGMS 1.0:
a. Launch Cloud GMS 1.0 from MySonicWall.com | Cloud GMS | Launch Cloud GMS
b. Login to Cloud GMS 1.0 and go to the ‘Firewall’ tab and select the firewall and ‘right click’
c. In the popup menu, click ‘Delete’ to remove the firewall
Note: Deleting Unit/s from CGMS tenancy will remove node association in mysonicwall.com.
In case if above steps didn’t work, Call Support to Reset Serial number from CGMS tenant serial in mysonicwall.com.
Note: Use Reset serial of CGMS 1.0 tenancy ONLY if the node association still shows in mysonicwall.com
2. Adding unit to CSC / CGMS 2.0:
a. Login to Capture Security Center (https://cloud.sonicwall.com) and go to ‘MySonicWall’ tab and locate your firewall. Enable and activate CSC license on firewall to create tenant in CGMS 2.0
Note: Click on ‘Try’ CSC Services options in mysonicwall.com/CSC to create the tenant in CSC.
b. Now go back to Capture Security Center main page and click on the ‘Management’ tile and then add unit (Manual / ZT) in Cloud GMS 2.0
